Summary

As a Part-Time DevOps Engineer, your role is integral to streamlining our software development and deployment lifecycle. You will be collaborating closely with both the software development teams and the IT operations staff under the guidance of the Lead DevOps Engineer. This position allows you to flexibly contribute while addressing the complexities of our systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist in automating and optimising our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that software releases are smooth and secure. Additionally, you will help monitor our systems' health, responding to incidents and implementing proactive solutions to prevent future issues.

Key Skills

Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices, ideally with at least 2 years of experience

Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., Python, Jenkins, Ansible)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
